Being a member of the church is important. It is the way we show publicly that we trust in Christ for salvation and identify ourselves as part of his family. Paul tells the Christians in Corinth, ‘You are the body of Christ and each one of you is a part of it’ (1Co 12.27).
For anyone interested in becoming a member in Bethel we periodically run a six-week membership class that covers the key things associated with belonging to the church.
We also have a church handbook that provides more information about what we believe here in Bethel, how we function as a church and the way in which all those who belong to the church have a part to play in its life and work. This handbook can be accessed online in Living Stones - a handbook for church members.
